
Every so often I come across something that is just too difficult to put into words. Usually I don’t bother trying to add this to culturepublic, as it makes for a very confuzzling post. But Sliding House by dRMM is too good to pass up writing about.
So I’ll try and explain it. It’s a house in rural England, and its walls slide on huge railway tracks to create four completely different layouts. And if that wasn’t complicated enough, the architects have also planned to incorporate things that aren’t even there yet, like a lap pool that may occasionally need covering – yes, they’ve planned for this too.
